It's a changing of the guard this week at the ABC, as Ita Buttrose completes her term as chair and hands over to her successor, media executive Kim Williams.  

Ita Buttrose has led the ABC since 2019. During that time the organisation has undergone change, in an ever-evolving media environment. The ABC has also faced its share of criticism and challenges.

Guest: Kerry O'Brien is a distinguished journalist, who won six Walkley Awards during his career, including the Gold Walkley. He is former host of ABC programs including Lateline, Four Corners and the 7.30 Report.
