About the panel:

The panel will be an insightful conversation about embracing new technologies, the future of work and how our panellists will shape the future of work for women.

These women bring decades of combined expertise in the higher education sector. While their specific skillsets differ, they all have a proven track record of leadership roles.

In this panel, we will discuss:

  • Social innovation and social enterprise have become significantly important in developing new solutions to persistent and environmental challenges. What leading new approach to an entrenched problem have you driven?
  • What are the capabilities and mindsets leaders need to adopt to activate positive outcomes for their teams and organisations, and the community?
  • What drives women to step up and lead, and challenge the status quo?

About QWW and IWD:

The QWW 2023 theme is Empower her voice; secure her future. We all have a role to play in empowering women and girls voices, as we work together to achieve gender equality.

In 2023 UN Women will mark IWD with the theme Cracking the Code: Innovation for a gender equal future. This theme highlights the role that bold, transformative ideas, inclusive technologies and accessible education can play in combatting discrimination and the marginalisation of women globally.
