Enhancing your future career opportunities!
People have trouble seeing all the career and life pathways that are available to them - we offer a program that sparks a different way of thinking so that every student can see the next steps to take.
The Spark program is aimed to inspire, activate and engage the wider QUT Community in the colourful world of Entrepreneurship.
The program provides a general overview of what entrepreneurship is, how to incorporate proven techniques into your own projects, and how to gain opportunities and benefits from engaging and connecting with others.
From no-idea to idea, Spark is a program for participants who are unfamiliar with entrepreneurship to introduce entrepreneurial thinking and to understand the process of ideation for creating opportunities to create value.
The program aims to answer the questions:
- What is entrepreneurship?
- How might I apply entrepreneurial thinking to my future career?
- Is entrepreneurship for me?
- Where do good ideas come from?
Participants will finish the program with the spark of an idea.
It is beginner level, open to everyone and we cover everything from the basics to sharing stories of QUT alumni who have walked the path previously and how they started with nothing to having something and everything in between.
Spark provides opportunities for the QUT community across all faculties to engage in entrepreneurship. It is a cohort-based, introduction to entrepreneurial mindset, thinking and action.
