It's with immense pleasure that I welcome you to the latest edition of the QUT alumni newsletter, centred around the theme "Big Ideas in AI."
As a fellow alumnus and Data and AI Partner at KPMG Australia, I am thrilled to share some insights and perspectives on the transformative power of artificial intelligence.
With computing power increasing and data costs reducing, the way we can interact with this software has changed; it’s become more natural for humans to interact with and is no longer limited to those with specialised skills. I share more detailed thoughts here on both the benefits and risks of implementing generative AI solutions in the workplace.
In this edition of the newsletter, you will find Q&A sessions and articles from fellow alumni offering their perspectives on the challenges and opportunities presented by AI in various industries. I encourage you to engage with these insights and contribute to the ongoing conversation.
Thank you for being an integral part of our alumni community, and I look forward to witnessing the impact of our collective intelligence on the future of AI.
Warm regards,
