Dear QUT Graduate,
This edition follows our recent QUT Outstanding Alumni Awards which recognises the diverse talent, influence and impact of our graduates in industry, social institutions and in communities across the globe.
This year, 12 exceptional individuals received awards for collectively driving progress and innovation in human-centred design, health equity, technology, finance, film production, sport, Indigenous Australian perspectives and culture, and elevating the voices of our diverse and multicultural society.
Please take a moment to listen to the inspiring career journeys of our new award-winners. I congratulate them all for their many achievements and for their motivation to give back to their communities and professions.
Alumni are a university’s ambassadors, and many of our past award recipients continue their association and commitment to QUT, lending their professional expertise to advisory panels, guest lecturing, supporting academic and research development and mentoring students.
These relationships align with the real-world approach of QUT through our Connections QUT Strategy 2023-2027 as we bring positive change through strengthening the university experience for all students both within and outside the curriculum.
Enjoy the read.
