How to live sustainably during a pandemic + win QPAC tickets to a space saga on climate change!
Environment and sustainability
Dear QUT graduate,
Sustainability affects every aspect of our lives – food, water, clothing, buildings, energy, transport, waste. It needs to be a priority for every individual, every organisation, and every country.
QUT’s Sustainability Action Plan promotes a university-wide effort to become carbon neutral by 2030. This plan includes finding new ways to reduce waste, encouraging sustainable transport, maintaining and improving campus biodiversity, and developing a built environment that minimises environmental impacts.
Like many of you, we are committed to living lightly upon the earth and reducing our impact on the environment. Through partnerships, research, teaching programs, and campus operations, we're striving for a low carbon future.
Stay up to date with sustainability news, events, and resources below.
